This project was the first contract to go out in the multi-billion-dollar Elgin O’Hare Expressway reconstruction. It involved construction of a new interchange at the intersection of Rohlwing Rd & Elgin O’Hare Express/Thorndale Ave. Additionally, the Dryland Bridge, Traffic Signal Modernization and Noise Wall was constructed at several locations.
Aggregate is laid out on Rohlwing Rd/IL-53 and sub-surface is being prepped for further construction.

Construction continues on Rohlwing Rd/IL-53 during Stage 2 while traffic is shifted to finished surface built during Stage 1.
